Garth. Leave the M4 at Junction 32 and head north on the A470 towards Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil. Take the first exit off the A470 sign posted Radyr/Taffs Well, bare left at the next rounderbout and right at the next (sign posted Pentyrch). You'll pass a small Ind Est and a housing estate on the right. Take the next right into the village of Gwaelod-Y-Garth go straight along this road and take the next turning left, follow this road up the hill around a sharp bend and as you get to the top the road will level off, there will be a layby on the right hand side, park in the layby. You will see the Garth Hill from the layby you should see a well walked track which runs along the side of the hill follow this track and it will bring you out at the top, be prepared its quite a walk.
